The Lunar New Year & The Fire Horse

The Lunar New Year always happens on the Aquarius New Moon.

We actually experience several “new years”:

• The Gregorian calendar new year (January 1)
• The Lunar New Year
• The Astrological New Year when the Sun enters Aries

So if you haven’t felt ready to begin your goals yet — you’re working with nature. We aren’t at the solar new year yet.

This year brings the Year of the Fire Horse.

The Fire Horse is passionate, energetic, and bold — but also intuitive and sensitive. A wild horse doesn’t burn itself out in nature. It rests when it needs to and moves when it’s aligned.

This energy is about big change — but sometimes the biggest change available to us is simply a change in perspective.

Because eclipses are quantum: We stop taking logical A → B → C → D steps and suddenly we jump.

Scientifically, eclipses happen when a new or full moon occurs within 18° of the lunar nodes — the meeting point of the sun’s path and the moon’s orbit.

Spiritually, eclipses shift our path.

They disrupt our current trajectory and move us into another timeline.

This is why we don’t demand during eclipses — we open.

Instead of asking:

“Will this happen?”

Ask:

“What am I open to experiencing, becoming, or feeling?”

This is wildcard energy — like a wild horse — freedom without restriction.
