August is a recalibration month. Now that you are integrating the value of pleasure into your Work and daily practice thanks to Venus Rx, it is time to realign your practices and rituals throughout all the systems that operate your life and business. To awaken your energy and senses from your morning routines that set you up energized, to the way you delegate to your support team, to the weekly schedule that is now whole with both work, rest and play.

Your Adaptability Quotient to the test

We open up August with Venus a little more than a week into her 8-week retrograde AND Mercury entering the shadow zone of their upcoming retrograde by the end of the month. With two personal planets both in their realignment phases, August is your month to calibrate. Your adaptability quotient will be on high this month.

In fact, by the time Mercury shifts into reverse on the same day the Sun enters Virgo (Aug 23), Uranus puts on the brakes to station before entering their retrograde (Aug 28).

By the time August ends, Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune will all be in their retrograde motions. Truly a time to take our Rx.

Definitely add a reminder to your calendar for the second half of August to be flexible and open to the necessities of change. Especially in Virgo season to adapt is her highest priority as a mutable sign, although she can easily get stuck in details with a hyper critical eye.

Virgo reminds us that to practice is to perfect. That there is no such thing as perfection. To perfect is to make something as good as possible, to bring in all the desirable elements, qualities and characteristics. To make changes, to adapt, to shift as the time requires. The more you can easily shift, the more successful you can be in both life and Work. The higher your adaptability quotient, the more prepared for success and growth in your changemaking Work this August.
