Project Summary

Today we would like to feature the amazing bay area based LGBTQ literary publication @foglifterjournal. For Foglifter we created a super fun, vibrant and bright blog style website, highlighting posts on events, publications, book reviews, author features, and more. We wanted to reflect their eclectic and edgy space which strives to both celebrate and normalize queer lives and queer bodies. They have a commitment to underserved queer writers and readers and to creating a space to publish writing that makes one question the things they believe to be true.

What we did:

✅ Re organized the navigation to make it more streamlined
✅ Added lots of fun color and more photos to reflect their eclectic and edgy space
✅ Created an interface where users can submit publications for future features
✅ Added an events calendar integration for members of Foglifter to share upcoming events with their community.
