The Virgo Lunar Eclipse on March 3, 2026 is here to reveal the hidden pattern of overgiving — the belief that you have to work harder, give more, and prove your worth. In this episode, I walk you through the astrology of this powerful Blood Moon in Virgo and how it’s inviting you to release perfectionism, people-pleasing, and the pressure to do more.
This eclipse is part of a three-eclipse Virgo cycle (2025–2027) and marks a turning point in how we work, lead, and care for ourselves. When Virgo’s shadow shows up, it can look like overworking, overthinking, and overdelivering. But the medicine of this eclipse is learning how to trust your genius instead of exhausting yourself trying to prove it.
In this episode, I’ll share:
✨ The astrology of the Virgo Lunar Eclipse
✨ Why overgiving is actually a control pattern rooted in fear
✨ The Virgo shadow of perfectionism and hyper-criticism
✨ The Pisces medicine of compassion, intuition, and flow

Virgo Lunar Eclipse: Releasing the Habit of Over-Giving
The Virgo Lunar Eclipse on March 3, 2026 is illuminating a pattern that many of us quietly carry — especially those of us who identify as helpers, leaders, healers, and changemakers.
Over-giving.
The belief that we have to earn our place by doing more, giving more, being more.
In this episode, I explore how the Virgo Lunar Eclipse reveals the deeper roots of this pattern — and why what often looks like generosity can actually be fear wearing the costume of service.
Because when we stop over-giving, something powerful happens.
We begin to trust our genius again.
The Invitation of the Virgo Lunar Eclipse
Eclipses are rarely gentle.
They are cosmic turning points that reveal the deeper beliefs and habits shaping our lives.
A few weeks ago the Aquarius Solar Eclipse planted a new vision. It asked us to imagine what could change in our lives, leadership, and communities.
Now the Virgo Lunar Eclipse arrives to clear the path for that vision.
Virgo’s shadow often appears as:
- perfectionism
- control
- hyper-criticism
- impossibly high standards
That voice that says:
- I’m not ready yet.
- I’m not polished enough yet.
- I’m not good enough yet.
The Virgo Eclipse asks us to release that voice so we can move forward.
When Over-Giving Looks Like Generosity
For many years in my own work, I thought generosity meant giving more.
More information.
More resources.
More effort.
My worksheets were like books.
But eventually I had to ask myself an uncomfortable question:
Who is this really for?
Is it serving my people?
Or is it managing my own anxiety?
Because underneath the behavior was a belief:
I have to be of service to be valuable.
So we give more.
We work harder.
We over-deliver.
But eventually that belief quietly becomes control.
We stop trusting our people to meet us halfway.
We stop trusting that our genius is enough.
The Virgo Lunar Eclipse has a way of revealing exactly where that pattern lives.
Genius Does Not Come From Perfection
One of the biggest lessons Virgo teaches is this:
Genius does not come from perfection.
It comes from experimentation.
Your most brilliant work has never arrived fully formed.
When the expectations become too high, we never even begin.
We collapse under the weight of perfectionism.
This eclipse reminds us that progress — not perfection — is where our brilliance grows.
Five Steps to Stop Over-Giving
If the Virgo Lunar Eclipse is revealing your over-giving patterns, here are five ways to begin releasing them.
- See the pattern: Name it clearly- Over-giving is not generosity — it is often a control pattern rooted in fear.
- Lower the bar: Not the bar of your genius. But the impossible bar created by perfectionism.
- Trust your genius: Your best work grows through experimentation, not endless preparation.
- Release the outcome: You cannot control how your giving will land. Trust your people to meet you.
- Be witnessed in the community: Deep patterns rarely release in isolation. We need spaces where our genius can be reflected back to us.
The Aquarius eclipse planted the seed.
The Virgo eclipse clears the soil so it can grow.
